I am a developer skilled in system architecture with scalability in mind. Scalability maximizes throughput and stack effeciency, giving faster access to resources when needed. I love it!
I have the awesome priveledge of making applications to makes the lives of users easier and better. On most days I use PHP to create the backend, and a combination of HTML/CSS + JS/jQuery for the frontend. I also create Python scripts to automate a lot of tasks and/or improve their functionality. As of late, I've been working on an Android application which is super cool.
During the school holidays I worked at an internet cafe and helped customers and employees with daily tasks. These being setting up computers and providing support to users expering difficulties.
Apart from being a software developer, I enjoy most of my time in the presense of people. Either at a party, at campus, or anywhere people are gathered in a structured and social manner. Listening and chatting to people helps me to better understand my own views as I communicate them, and understand the views of those around me as I listen to them.
When I'm not with people, I enjoy reading and learning about new things. I also enjoy writing, so I can better structure my knowledge, and share it with others.
I also enjoy writing poetry.
My responsibilies included the management of the children as well as the teaching or supporting in teaching of the lesson. Playing games with the kids afterwards, and giving them back to their parents :)
We'd go into different communites (such as Dieploot, Thabo Mbeki, etc) and tell people about the Gospel and the hope of Life in Jesus. And I'd be the bridge between language barries within my scope if any. Best time ever!
I usally assisted with whatever the program looked like for the day. Often my responsibilies included helping in the movement of the residents, as well as feeding some of them when necessary and any other necessary tasks.
